Ginger Chicken...
This is one of the most simple dishes and yet very delicious.Ingredients:* Chicken 500 gms* Ginger paste 2 tbsp* Lemon juice 2 tbsp* Red chilli 1 tsp (ideally whole chillies but powder would be fine)* Dhaniya 1 tbsp (ideally whole dhaniya but powder would be fine)* Butter/Oil 2 tbspProcedure:Blend together ginger, red chillies, dhaniya and lemon juice to a paste.Marinate chicken pieces in the paste for 2-3 hours.Heat butter/oil, add the chicken pieces and the marinate and cook on medium heat till oil seperates and chicken is tender.Serve with paratha and rice.
that looks delicious, How did you manage to get the gravy, the recipes looks like it would be dry.

ReplyDeleteAbout how long does it takes for the chicken to cook until it is done and do you need to cover the pan with a lid while chicken is cooking?

ReplyDeletei think 15-20 minutes on medium heat should be fine. If you want gravy then cook with a cover or else cook open.
