Paper Chicken...


Had this at one of Fatee's friends place. Loved it instantly.

Ingredients:
* Boneless chicken 250 gms
* Soya sauce 2 tbsp
* White pepper powder 1 tsp
* Seseme oil 2 tbsp
* Ginger-Garlic paste 1 tbsp
* Salt

Procedure:
Marinate bite size chicken pieces in above ingredients for a couple of hours.
Wrap individual pieces of marinated chicken in baking (butter) paper a tie them with threads.
Pre-heat oven at 180 degrees.
Cook the tied chicken for 15 minutes at 180 degrees.
Serve hot with ketchup.

  9. thanks Asha, yes it can be a very good party food and guests will love the idea of opening each packet and eat the chicken from it.

    Butter paper is also known as baking paper.... it is used to line the baking tray so that cake doesnt stick to the tray. It is a paper and cannot be eaten. To eat the chicken, you tear the paper away and take out the chicken.

    Ayesha,

    if you keep for around 15-18 minutes in the oven then it should be well cooked. May be you can open one and check it before serving.

  15. Salam me again!!.....thanku for that. chicken turned out really tender and moist which is a huge acheavment for a novice cook like me!!...ended up adding too much salt coz i din't realise that soyasauce is really salty aswell....bt i fixed it so yay!
    Oh and checking tht its cooked is easy u just touch the chicken lightly and if it springs back u no its cooked.....u have me hooked nw....thnkuuuuu
