Tawa Vegetables
You can use as many vegetables you like to make this dish. Simple and very stylish dish can be cooked during BBQ parties.
Ingredients:
* Mushrooms 1/2 cup chopped.
* Brussel sprouts 1/2 cup chopped.
* Capsicum 1/2 cup chopped.
* Spring onions 2-3 roughly chopped.
* Tomato 1 medium chopped.
* Oil 2 tbsp
* Lemon juice 2 tbsp
* Red chilli powder 1 tsp
* Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
* Dhaniya powder 1 tsp
* Salt
Procedure:
Mix oil, lemon juice, and all powder masala into a thick paste.
Marinate chopped vegetables in this paste for half an hour.
Cook them on a very hot tawa for 10-12 minutes till they are alomost cook.
Make sure not to over cook, the vegetables should taste crunchy and cooked.
Serve hot with paratha.

ReplyDeleteDoes it give out too much smoke when we tava fry (if we r making on stovetop).....nice way to it your veggies.
Vaishali, i added some oil in the marinate so tadka is inbuilt :-p

Nikhat, yeah it creates too much smoke for like first 5 mins but then its alright. If you have a bigger tawa you can cook each vegetable separately and then mix and match as per your diners choice. It works best when you are doing a BBQ.
