Grilled Chicken - Tandoori Style...

Ingredients:
* Chicken breast 3
* Red chilli powder 1 tsp
* Dhaniya powder 1 tsp
* Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
* Garam Masala 1/2 tsp
* Green paste 1 tsp
* Yoghurt 3 tbsp
* Lemon juice 1 tsp
* Red colour few drops

Procedure:
Blend together all the ingredients except chicken to a smooth paste.
Mark 2-3 'X' cuts on chicken to marinate it deeply.
Marinate chicken in the mixed paste for 2 hours. Turning 2-3 times in between.
Grill the chicken pieces in baking tray in a pre-heated oven for 15-20 minutes on 180 degrees.
Put the chicken on upper shelf for 2-3 minutes on 250 degrees to give that charred look if you want one.
Serve with chutneys and masala yoghurt.

Hi, had a doubt, when do we add salt what exactly is green paste? does it have ginger/garlic in it.Thanks.

Hey there

You can add salt in your marinate.

Green masala is mixture of ginger+garlic+green chillies blended together in a paste in ratio of 100gm+100gms+200gms.

YOu can keep this paste in fridge and can last months if you add a bit of salt to it. It acts as a preservative.

Since I am diagnosed with gestational diabetes, this recipe works amazingly for me and tastes good. Thank you.

Dolan.
