Besan Mithai

This is one of the simplest of sweets you can make with just three ingredients. It is also called as besan halwa.

Ingredients:
* Besan 1 cup
* Sugar 1 cup
* Ghee/Butter 1 cup

Procedure:
Heat ghee, add besan and keep stirring for 3-4 minutes. Once you can smell besan being cooked, lower heat.
In the mean time, heat 1/4 cup water and add the sugar to it. Heat for 2 minutes till sugar dissolves completely.
Once the besan is cooked, add melted sugar syrup and turn off the heat.
Keep stirring till the mixture leaves the sides of the vessel.
Pour the mixture in a deep place and let it cool.
Cut the mithai in any shape you like.
It tastes best when it is a bit warm so heat it in a microwave for 15-20 seconds before serving.

Wow! Looks yummy.. and so simple..
Is it same as the sweet "Mysorepak" or "Mohanthaal"?

hi there...

thanks :-)

i guess Mohanthaal is a bit more diffcult and complicated than this... but it is worth all the time and effort...

mysore pak yeah it is like mysore park but the only difference is that mysore pak is more porous by adding more water to the sugar syrup
