Smoked Kofte...

This is one of my all time favourite. Mom made it last night for us. It takes a bit of an effort to make it but you will love it.

Ingredients:
* Keema 500 gms
* Onions 5 medium (3 chopped, 2 grated)
* Besan 3 tbsp
* Tomatoes 4 medium, chopped
* Green paste 1.5 tbsp
* Chilli powder 2 tbsp
* Corriander powder 1 tbsp
* Turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp
* Oil 4 tbsp for gravy and 4 tbsp for shallow frying

Procedure for Kofte:
Mix keema, besan, grated onions, all powder masala, green masala and salt thoroughly.
Make medium sized round balls.
Shallow fry on medium heat. Cover the frying pan for 5 mins.
Procedure for Gravy:
Heat oil. Add chopped onions. Cook till light golden brown.
Add Tomatoes. Cook for 10 minutes.
Add salt and red chilli powder.
Add the fried Kofte. and cook for 5 minutes.

Procedure for smoking:
Once Kofte are cooked in gravy, put couple of burning coal on the Kofte.
Add 1 tbsp of Oil over the burning coal.
Cover it with a lid for 5 minutes.
Serve with Parathas.
hi ,,,wow koftas are lukin yummy ...did u add ginger or garlic paste too??coz in the pic there is a plate of white paste is that garic or ginge paste ??? ???
