Chicken Cheese Baked...

I watched a program on tele a few days back. It was a bit too bland and had some pork meat in it. I changed it to make it more appealing to desi taste.

Ingredients:
* Chicken breast 1
* Onion 1 medium
* Cheese grated 1/2 cup
* Tikka masala 1 tbsp
* Red chilli powder 1 tsp
* Pastry dough
* Lemon juice 2 tbsp
* Salt
* Pepper
* Olive oil 1 tbsp

Procedure:
Slice chicken breast into thin slices, marinate it in tikka masala, red chilli powder, salt, lemon juice and pepper.
Slice onions into thin slices.
In a small bowl, layer onions, chicken and grated cheese. Repeat this layer again. Cover the bowl with a round pastry dough.
Coat the pastry with butter and beaten egg.
Bake it in a pre-heated oven for 20 minutes.
Turn the bowl upside down and serve the pastry on top of it as shown in the picture.

Wow amazing pictures and yummy recipe.

nice recipe and nice variation to add spice to it.

thanks Mallugirl and Lakshmi :-)

Wow the dough have a beautiful color...looks delicious. Is Tikka masala same as chat masala?

thanks Sri...

hmmm chat masala is more pungent and soury where as tikka masala is more spicy and hot...

I tried this recipe yesterday but it turned out too watery. The dough cooked faster than the insides adn I had to remove it from the oven. The taste was great and I would love to try it again but want to know a way to make it less watery.
