Peanut Butter Cookies...
It is a bit too difficult to make cookies when the weight measurements are in gms. You cant go to supermarket to get 100 gms of flour and 80 gms of butter *rolleyes*
Here is a recipe with all measures in tbsp so that it is easy to make at home. This recipe is for around 18-20 cookies.
Ingredients:
* Peanut Butter 2 tbsp
* Baking Butter 2 tbsp (no salt butter)
* Sugar 4 tbsp
* Self raising flour (or maida) 8 tbsp
* Baking powder 1/4 tbsp
* Egg 1 medium
* Pinch of salt.
Procedure:
Mix peanut butter, baking butter and sugar using an electric beater. Beat it into a smooth paste.
Add 1 beated egg to the above paste and beat it for another 5 minutes.
Mix the baking powder and salt to the flour. Add the flour to the sugar and butter paste.
Knead it into a smooth dough. It will be a bit soft.
Make 18-20 round balls out of the dough.
Refrigrate it for half an hour. Press the balls with fork to make a square design.
Bake in a pre-heated oven for 20 minutes.
