Ginger Chicken...

This is one of the most simple dishes and yet very delicious.

* Chicken 500 gms
* Ginger paste 2 tbsp
* Lemon juice 2 tbsp
* Red chilli 1 tsp (ideally whole chillies but powder would be fine)
* Dhaniya 1 tbsp (ideally whole dhaniya but powder would be fine)
* Butter/Oil 2 tbsp

Blend together ginger, red chillies, dhaniya and lemon juice to a paste.
Marinate chicken pieces in the paste for 2-3 hours.
Heat butter/oil, add the chicken pieces and the marinate and cook on medium heat till oil seperates and chicken is tender.
Serve with paratha and rice.

Looks absolutely mouth watering.

thanks :-)

About how long does it takes for the chicken to cook until it is done and do you need to cover the pan with a lid while chicken is cooking?

hi there...

i think 15-20 minutes on medium heat should be fine. If you want gravy then cook with a cover or else cook open.
